Our Statement of Belief

The staff at Family Foundations of Iowa, Inc. strives to provide "professional services within a non-denominational Christian framework". We are committed to Biblical principles in our understanding of psychology and its application within the therapeutic process. We hold to a Biblical view of humans, who, while being created in the image of God, have a fallen nature and thus manifest the actions of his or her sinfulness as well as experiencing its consequences. We acknowledge the ordained, unique relationships found within marriage and family and are committed to reconciliation within these relationships whenever possible. We acknowledge the work of the Holy Spirit through the work of Christ on the cross and as an active force within the believer's life seeking to facilitate healing and growth.
