As one of many therapists here at Family Foundations, I welcome you!

It’s not always easy to ask for help, especially when the help you seek is often times very personal and painful.  I want to reassure you that you are in good hands.  I like to think of my counseling with clients as feeling as comfortable as having coffee with a friend.  Actually, having coffee with friends is one of my favorite ways to spend free time!  So, you could say I’m pretty experienced at it.  You will also find that I love to read and I often recommend books to my clients that I believe will help them to find inspiration and comfort.

I absolutely love to sit with people and help them find their purpose – who God designed them to be, what God created them to do – and then watch them pursue their purpose relentlessly.  I can be a good listener, I can offer advice and guidance along the way, and I can be a cheerleader when you need one too.  There are times when I will challenge you to go higher than you ever thought you could but I promise to be nice about it – it can be exciting!!!!

I work with men, women, adolescents and their parents.  I have a special place in my heart for helping women discover their value and worth.  I know what it’s like to struggle with self-worth, doubt, love addiction and feeling like I have to perform well to be valued.  But, now I also know the freedom that is available to a person when we start measuring ourselves by God’s standards instead of trying to measure up to the lies we’ve ended up believing.   And if you are a single woman, I know the frustrating journey of waiting on God and His perfect timing to bring that special someone to share your life with.  As frustrating as it can be, I have also found that this period of waiting can be a very fulfilling season of life as well.  It all depends on how you look at it!

Please, don’t hesitate to call and let me help you.  God loves you too much to leave you struggling where you are – He has provided you with therapists like me to minister to you in your time of need.
